The Shriver Center hosts 2L and 3L law students for internships in the spring, summer, and fall to work on research and writing projects in support of our advocacy programs. These internship positions are highly competitive and spots fill up quickly. Students interested in a Fall 2017 legal internship should electronically submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample, official or unofficial transcript (or class schedule for 1Ls who have not yet completed a semester/quarter), and references to Emily Coffey . Please submit all materials as Portable Document Format (PDF) files.
Our Summer 2017 internship positions have been filled. The Shriver Center is, however, now accepting applications for two summer fellowship positions through the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI). Interested students must apply through PILI.
Law students or law graduates interested in a full-time school year internship, externship or fellowship should email the director of the unit in which they have an interest, and submit a detailed proposal that includes information about the timing and scope, and any commitments requested of the Shriver Center. Please also include a resume, writing sample, official or unofficial transcript, and references.
